The Evercrest Standard
What a small program can do that a big one cannot
We are not trying to be the largest Dachshund breeder. We are trying to be the one whose puppies arrive settled, sound and genuinely known — and whose families never wonder what they were not told.
Read the Guarantee- 01
Two litters a year. No more.
Our girls raise one litter at a time with long rests between. Fewer puppies means every single one gets hours of handling, name recognition and a settled temperament before pickup day.
- 02
Health screening before pairing.
Every breeding pair is screened for hips, elbows, eyes and the hereditary conditions Dachshunds carry. We publish what we test for, and we will show you the paperwork.
- 03
Socialised on purpose.
Vacuum cleaners, doorbells, grandchildren, car rides, crate naps, nail trims. By eight weeks a puppy has met the ordinary world and decided it is not frightening.
- 04
Placed, not sold.
We ask about your days, your stairs, your travel and your patience. A Dachshund lives twelve to sixteen years — the match matters more than the sale.
On the Ground
Three planned litters, three distinct looks
Because each pairing whelped at a different time, the puppies vary slightly in age. Browse by litter to find the coat, colour and stage that suits you.
Litter A · 12 weeks old
The Chocolate Dapples
Born to our chocolate dapple pairing, this litter is known for rich marbled chocolate-and-tan coats and soft, expressive eyes.
Litter B · 11 weeks old
The Silvers & Creams
From our silver/blue dilute pairing, these puppies show off lighter cream, silver, and blue dapple tones — several with striking blue eyes.
Litter C · 10 weeks old
The Black & Tans
Our classic black-and-tan litter, with bold tan points and the occasional silver dapple highlight.
Our House, Their First One
It started with a boy named Dexter
A first Dachshund at fourteen years old turned into a lifetime of them. Dexter was the dog who made a shy teenager brave, and every litter since has been raised to the standard he set — steady, affectionate and sure of people.
Today it is a whole household: two children, a patient husband, and a living room that has never once been fully tidy. Puppies grow up in the middle of all of it, which is exactly why they settle so quickly into yours.
- Raised in the house, handled every single day
- Started on crate rest and paper training before pickup
- Introduced to children, stairs, cars and grooming tools
- Pickup preferred so we can meet you face to face

Loved By Families
Letters from the homes our puppies grew up in
From the first message to the day we drove home, everything felt personal. Our boy arrived healthy, calm and already used to people. He settled in within days and has been the happiest little shadow ever since.
You can tell these puppies are raised in a real home with children and constant attention. She is confident, gentle with our kids, and was already started on crate and potty training. Evercrest made the whole thing easy.
We researched breeders for the better part of a year. The communication was honest, the health records were complete, and our girl is everything we hoped for. They still check in on how she is doing.
Before You Decide
Read everything first. We would rather you did.
